With a distinguished career spanning multiple sectors, I, Bekele Bulado (Ph.D.), have served at ministerial and CEO levels, driving transformative reforms in trade, education, corporate governance, and more. Here are some of my major accomplishments:
Leadership in International Trade: Supervised Ethiopia’s negotiating team for the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) and advocated for WTO accession.
Corporate and Institutional Restructuring: Successfully merged enterprises and restructured operations to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Contributions to Education: Secured international funding for university projects and achieved high student satisfaction as a lecturer.
Advocacy and Leadership: Pioneered initiatives like the Sidama Coffee Producers’ Cooperative Union and represented Ethiopia in global trade forums.
CV
I supervised the Continental Free Trade Area’s negotiating team of experts of the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and achieved making the country a founding member of the regional organization. I have led the preparation of Strategic Management Plans, Reform Frameworks, and Manuals & their implementations while serving as the CEO and Senior Executive Officer of various organizations.
